In recent times while doing yum update in Almalinux got error -yum update failed error,

The issue is affected by a pub key:

Error: GPG check FAILED

AlmaLinux has recently updated the GPG keys on their package distribution servers. This causes AlmaLinux server images created before the update to fail when attempting to download updates or install new packages with the old keys.

Please run this command to work around the issue

rpm --import https://repo.almalinux.org/almalinux/RPM-GPG-KEY-AlmaLinux

This command will import the updated keys, or if the server already trusts them, it will do nothing. Once complete, you should be able to update or install cPanel normally.

Cause

The GPG key for the xfsdump package was not installed, resulting in a GPG check failure during the package installation, which was resolved by importing the necessary key from the AlmaLinux repository.

cloudlinux-release-8.9-2.el8 package contains an updated AlmaLinux key, but won’t help with current systems. Therefore, please apply the workaround anyway.
