How to Manage Webdisk on cPanel

There are several ways to manipulate files on your server (cPanel) I.e File Manager, FTP etc. But today we are going to see how to do it thorough webdisk option.
Web disk is unfamiliar method to most of people who using cPanel. Through which you can able to manage, navigate, upload, and download the files on your web server. Web Disk account directories exist relative to your account’s home directory. The home icon () signifies your home directory. Now Let’s how to do it.
Step 1: Login to your cPanel through yourdomain.com/cpanel.
Step 2 : Type “Web disk ” on search box or you can find it under Files section.
Step 3 : Based on your computer operating system, The access mechanism will differ. If you use Windows Vista®, Windows® 7, Windows® 8, or Windows® 10, you must select Enable Digest Authentication to access your Web Disk.
The server has an SSL certificate signed by a recognized certificate authority and you are able to make an SSL connection over port 2078, you do not need to enable this.
Step 4 : By default you can use cPanel user for accessing web disk. Else If you can create an additional web disk account.
Step 5 : For creating additional Web disk account, please fille form and click create.
Step 6 : Click Configure Client access to download configuration scripts.
Step 7 : Choose the operating system and Click Download configuration script to download it.
Step 8 : Download the configuration script on your local PC and then open it. While opening the script It may take some time. Please be wait until it open.
Step 9 : Then you will asked to provide web disk login details to login.
Step 10 : Click ok, Then you can able to see your web server files mounted on your local PC.
