How to Restore a File from Cpanel

Today we are going to see how to restore any file from local Backup. It is the new features included on version 68.

To use this feature, your system administrator or hosting provider must enable account backups and ensure that the system retains backup files locally.

The File Restoration interface allows you to restore items from local backup files. This interface displays all of the files and directories in a backup file.

This interface only allows you to restore items from local backup files. The File Restoration interface only displays WHM-generated backup files. This interface does not display cPanel-user-created backup files.

Now Let’s see how to do it.

Step 1 : Login to your cPanel.

Step 2 : Once logged into cPanel, You can find “File Restoration” option under Files section or Type File Restoration on search box.

Step 3 : Once entered into File Restoration Interface , Choose the File that you want to restore.

Step 4 : Click Restore This Version for the version of the file you want to restore (you may have one or more)
