Easy Steps to Install Softaculous App Installer on cPanel

Today we are going to see how to install Softaculous App installer on WHM panel.

What is Softacuous ?

Softaculous is widely used in the Web Hosting industry and it has helped millions of users install applications by the click of a button. Softaculous Auto Installer easily integrates into leading Control Panels like cPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, InterWorx, H-Sphere.

Now let’s see how to install It on cPanel server

1. Before starting the installation make sure ionCube Loaders are enabled.
2. SSH to your server through Putty
3. Execute the below command to download softaculaous files
4. #wget -N http://files.softaculous.com/install.sh
5. Once downloaded change the permission of install.sh to 755 through below command
6. # chmod 755 install.sh
7. Final step is execute the install file through below command
8. # ./install.sh

To check Installation

1. Go to your WHM interface.
2. Click on the option ‘Plugins’.
