How to run stats for a user manually

This article deals with ho to run stats for a user manually in cpanel if any changes or modification done on resources.

For users, statistics (Analog, AWStats, and Webalizer) are processed on a schedule set by default to ensure successful completion. However, there may be times when you need to view the data before the scheduled stats process is executed, and you need to run a manual update.

Steps to run stats for a user manually.

The easiest way to do this is via the command line using the following script:

/scripts/runweblogs $USER

The above script will initiate an update on the stats and present you with output regarding the tasks or any errors it may encounter.

The second method to process stats via WHM:

  1.  Access WHM and navigate to: “WHM » Server Configuration » Statistics Software Configuration
  2. Select the user under the section “Process Statistics for User
  3. Click “Go

Inside the Statistics Software Configuration interface, you can either make the statistics software you would like to use default or enable the ability for users to configure their statistics software in cPanel.

If your configuration looks like this, select Choose Users in the User Permissions section to enable users to enable the statistics software or make them active by default using the checkboxes.

Another reason user’s stats may not update is if the user has exceeded their disk quota. If your user has exceeded, their quota consider expanding the disk space allotted or freeing up space within the account.
